»Secure and Trustworthy Hardware«

In an increasingly interconnected IoT ecosystem, where resource-constrained devices, such as edge devices, collect and process sensitive data, it becomes crucial to ensure confidentiality, authenticity, and privacy of data. This protection requires that the electronic systems, which are accessible to potential attackers along the supply chain, are resistant to tampering attacks on a hardware level. In addition, the security of the ecosystem can be enhanced, if trustworthiness of all relevant electronic components is ensured.

During the last three years, the partners of the French-German project APRIORI (funded by the French ANR and the German BMBF) and the project VE-FIDES (funded by the German BMBF) worked towards this goal.

Highlights and practical results from both projects will be presented in the workshop. We will be happy to discuss our results on the basis of posters at the get-together.
